IT is always changing and knowledge of systems is crucial to managing today's ICT systems. Although there is no substitute for real world experience, certification and technical training give IT professionals the required knowledge and expertise to provide quality services.
Different people believe in different certification tracks. My strategy is to give myself a solid foundation of skills on new software as it come available, keeping upto date, allowing me to have a broad understanding of designing, managing and developing ICT systems.

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate 2016- February 2019
In February 2019, I took the single 70-743 exam which was required to upgrade my skills from MCSA Server 2012 to MCSA Server 2016, I sucessfully passsed this, gaining the MCSA 2016 certification..
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate 2012 - April 2015
In April 2015, I took the single 70-417 exam which was required to upgrade my skills from MCSA Server 2008 to MCSA Server 2012, I sucessfully passsed this, gaining the MCSA 2012 status.

Microsoft have brought back the MCSA Status as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associated. As I had already completed the exam requirements, I automatically qualified to obtain this certification..
